The garage band “General Malacarne” is rehearsing their latest set in the basement when a mysterious blackout strikes Brooklyn, New York. The band chooses to sit around and enjoy a joint or two while waiting out the power outage, oblivious to the fact that everyone above ground has turned into ravenous zombies. The group concocts a plan to escape from the undead and they decide to retreat to an Aunt’s bay house on Long Island, which they assume is zombie free. The group heads out in a junker car which, in true zombie B-movie fashion, runs out of gas. They hit the streets with only some stolen bicycles and hilarious makeshift weapons on their side. They come across a boat they need to reach the house but it is nowhere near the water. They need to drag the boat to the water and the journey tests their friendship and their stoner minds.
