Plot Synopsis (Contains Some Plot Spoilers):
This zombie movie is set in Port Gamble, a small town in Washington, around 2003. Times are tough. America has recently invaded Iraq and the economy in this small fishing town in the Pacific Northwest has fallen on hard times. Businesses are closing and these Americans are looking for someone to blame. Xenophobia (a fear of things foreign) is alive and well.
Frida (played by Janette Armand) is a college student of Middle Eastern Descent. She’s an innocent, albeit troubled, college student who has come home for the summer to work in her father’s diner. She has to cope with the narrow minded and prejudiced locals who foolishly assume she’s a terrorist.
Meanwhile Tom (played by Doug Fahl) is coping with troubles of his own. He’s returned home to Port Gamble after years of absence to tell his mom he’s gay and introduce her to his boyfriend, Lance (played by Cooper Hopkins).
The struggles of Tom and Frida quickly get put into perspective and placed on the back burner when a horde of flesh hungry zombies invade Port Gamble. It’s up to the narrow minded locals to team up with people they don’t necessarily trust or personally approve of in order to survive. Can the small town locals put aside their differences and prejudices? Will they survive? Find out by watching the full movie below!
