Edges of Darkness spins a tale of three different but interconnected stories with the zombie apocalypse of Los Angeles as their stage. The first story tells the story of a vampire couple that kidnaps a little girl for sustenance. They quickly find the tables have turned and they learn that appearances can be very deceiving. The terror continues in the second story about Dean, a recluse writer. He installs mysterious new word processing software on his computer and chooses to ignore the ongoing zombie apocalypse (and his wife) to focus on his writing. He soon discovers electricity isn’t necessary because he can power his computer by the life force of others! Finally, a tough and attractive survivalist named Heather rescues a mother and her young son. After saving the duo from a zombie attack, Heather takes the pair back to her home to recover. Heather promptly discovers the zombies are the least of their worries. The pair fears a group of renegade priests, hellbent on destroying the boy.
